What you will do 

You will be joining our Global Medical Outside US – Digital, Technology & Innovation (DTI) team. This new team, focusing on the ELMAC and JAPAC Regions (including Europe, Latin America, Canada, Africa, Japan, Australia, China), is responsible for supporting the business on the various Medical systems.  The role of DTI Business Analyst / DTI Engineer acts as a thought partner and technical leader for the Medical business communityYou will be responsible for understanding the business needs, designing a technical solution together with the rest of the DevOps teams you will be involved with. Using agile methodology, new functionalities and applications are designed and developed. The DTI Business Analyst / DTI Engineer will also lead new feature development, overall system improvements, support analysis, testing and validation of the solution as well as support steady-state operations within the application portfolio.  

 

In this role as an DTI Business Analyst / DTI Engineer, you will be engaged in the stand-ups & regular sprint planning and execution to deliver features, improvement, testing, validation & data integration to benefit our business users. As the DTI Business Analyst / DTI Engineer focusing on our Medical systems you will support the platforms that enable our ability to provide services to our Medical Teams and Healthcare Professionals. With your technical skills, you can create and maintain system interface diagrams, functional designs and technical specifications. Deliver and manage end-to-end solution testing. What we expect of you 

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. Preferably we are looking for someone specialized in Veeva, Salesforce.com, and MuleSoft, with experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of JavaScript/Visualforce/Apex/LWC, and cloud-based solutions such as the AWS tool stack is a plus. Since you will be working in a diverse and dynamic environment, excellent communication skills (in English) are mandatory. 

The DTI Business Analyst / DTI Engineer professional we seek is a superb communicator with these qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor level education, Business Information Systems / Information Systems / Computer Science or related field 

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a Business Analyst / Engineer role in preferably the pharmaceutical industry - Medical is a plus 

  • Excellent communication skills (English) 

  • Experience with at least one of Veeva, Salesforce.com, MuleSoft, AWS, Tableau, Sitecore, Sharepoint. 

  • Proven analytical, data-driven problem-solving skills 

  • Proven excellence in interpersonal skills, multitasking, persuasion, negotiation of critical issues, a strong attention to detail, and understanding of business complexity 

  • Experience with Agile development practices 

  • Affinity to work in a DevOps environment and Agile mind set 

  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others 

  • Ability to meet deadlines and schedules and be accountable 

  • Mindset of end-to-end delivery and ownership 

  • Willingness to learn new technologies 

 

Technical knowledge: 

  • Platforms (at least one): Veeva, Salesforce.com, MuleSoft, Tableau, AWS (or similar cloud-based platforms) 

  • Code Development: SQL/Python/JavaScript/Visualforce/Apex/LWC
