Job Description:

Avery Dennison is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with strong Commercial functional and technology expertise. As a member of the IT organization, you will work closely with the Commercial functions, such as: Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. 

Some essential qualities that we'd like you to bring to the table include a customer and business oriented approach, strong IT business analysis skills and previous project experience, as well as working with varied groups of stakeholders and interacting with geographically dispersed teams, ideally with experience of working across APAC time zones and cultures.

Responsibilities:

• Close collaboration with the Commercial functions in order to enable productivity, efficiency and business growth through digital solution

• Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with key business stakeholders, process owners and superusers and to support them to improve their business performance

• Ability to understand and articulate customer and business needs, complexities and impacts, both within functional groups, and throughout end-to-end business processes

• Conduct detailed analyses to identify gaps or opportunities, translate these into business requirements and support the design and implementation of IT system changes in line with the overall IT strategy

• Drive ongoing system improvements and user adoption in close collaboration with the functional process owners

• Drive innovation by identifying and presenting new opportunities by leveraging existing or new technologies

• Driving innovation and entrepreneurial spirit

• Drive continuous improvement of our IT practices, procedures and supporting tools.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or business required

• 7+ years of relevant experience in an IT Business Analyst or IT Consultant role, ideally within a manufacturing industry is a must have

• 5+ years of experience in Commercial IT domain and applications, specially Sf.com CRM is a must have

• Implementation experience in the eCommerce domain (Alibaba, JD, Amazon etc) is strongly preferred.

• Experience in Data and Analytics domain is strongly preferred

• Project Management qualifications or well developed skills are strongly preferred

• Proven analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills

• Superb communication and presentation skills

• Sound knowledge of process mapping and process optimization 

• Excellent documentation skills

• Global work experience (work/study abroad) is preferred, but not required

• Must be fluent in English, written and spoken

• Travel within the APAC regions required, when possible.
