Job Description

 
 
Purpose 
 
IT Business Analyst and Product Owner to work in the development of new services.
 
Tasks and Responsabilities 
      
As a Business Analyst/Product Owner to support the new application, these tasks include:
- Accountability and functional lead for Application Management, Operations and Support.
- Financial accountability for Application Management & Operations
- Accountability Supplier Management.
- Manages and owns the entire product line lifecycle from inception, strategic planning, and operations to delivery.
- Defines product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
- Actively participates in mitigating impediments which impacts successful completion of release/sprint goals.
- Leads the product release plans and sets expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
- Keeps the stakeholders in loop with development process, demonstrate solutions and gather feedback.
- Acts as escalation point for client issues that require product change resolution.

Education
  
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics with several years of professional experience as a Business Consultant, Application Owner, ideally in an agile environment.

Languages:  
- Fluent English mandatory

- Fluent German mandatory




  

Requirements and Experience

   
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in áreas of application development
- At least 1 year experience as a Product Owner.
  Required IT-Skills and experience:
As IT Business Analyst:
- Experience in Application Management, Operations and Support

- Experience in project management and product management

- Knowledge of business processes

- Experience with financial accountability for Applications with regard to further developments

- Experience in System Development Lifecycle and Software Engineering

- Knowledge about DevOps, Databases, IT security

- Stakeholder and Expectation Management




As Product Owner:


- Technical skills

- Written, verbal and presentation skills

- Expert in Agile Methods & Scrum knowledge

- Prioritization Skills

- Guts, determination and courage

- Vision

- Domain expertise



 
Aditional Information:
 
 
Required high flexibility to travel and spend time abroad, on a business trip basis. For the initial “ramp up” phase (2-3 months), it’s expected to spend around 3-4 days per weeks abroad in Germany, to learn about the system and processes and work packages together with the central team. Afterwards a more remote working model is possible, but still some travels might be  required.
However, currently planning of transition activities are under preparation and once the interview is performed more information about the approach will be provided.
 
 
 
Skills and Competences: 
 
- Proficiency with presentation skills as well as excellent written and oral communications skills

- Must be result oriented, goal oriented, and customer service orientated.

- Must rapidly build trust and credibility with supplier and customer.

- Must be a quick study and self-starter, able to roll up sleeves and manage hands-on in a team environment.
