About the Role:
The dual role of the Change and Problem Analyst is to Support the RWS Change Manager / Enablement Team and minimize the adverse impact of Change within the RWS Group IT and consequently to improve the day-to-day operations of the organization.
This will suit someone who has some Change or Problem Analytic experience or someone who is ITIL qualified with a passion to start their career in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
The primary objectives are to support the appropriate planning, testing, approval, scheduling, and communication of Change prior to implementation, ensuring accurate records are maintained as per the RWS Change governance framework
* Support the RWS Problem Manager / Team in ensuring all Problem activities are effectively tracked and managed within Group IT.
* Prevent problems and resulting incidents from reoccurrence, eliminating recurring incidents, and minimising the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented.
* This role requires a high-level understanding of IT infrastructures and the production of regular reports to assist with improving services from Group IT Service Delivery.
* Supporting the Change / Problem Manager / Enablement Team in ensuring all Change and Problem activities are effectively governed and managed within the organisations ITIL Service Delivery model.
* Support and promote the effectiveness of Change Enablement and Problem within RWS, ensuring that ITIL good practice is adhered to.
* Management of Change / Problem records, administration and data accuracy, escalating any issues to the Change and Problem Manager
* Review all implemented changes to ensure that they have met their objectives and providedvalue to the business.
* Analyse change / incident records to determine any trends or apparent problems that occur and involve relevant parties where necessary.
* Monitor and audit the process, using qualitative and quantitative Key Performance Indicators. Make recommendations for improvements.
Requirements:
* ITIL Ver 4 Practitioner or demonstrable equivalent experience.
* Ability to prioritize business needs against IT resource availability
* Excellent written and oral English communication skills and strong leadership qualities
* Knowledge of Change management, and information analysis
* Ability to work independently and drive improvements in Change Management processes
* Practical experience with ITSM/ITIL processes by developing, implementing and improving a process-based service management framework
* Experience in understanding business requirements
