IT Channel – Business Development Manager Essential Functions: Eaton is a power management company actively engaged in growing our market share within the IT Channel through a focus on Corporate accounts. We are looking for highly curious, adaptive seller who has a passion for helping customers make purchasing decisions within our IT Channel. In this highly complex marketspace, the applicant should be comfortable synthesising & using information from a wide range of sources to help our partners seek out active markets for growth. You should have experience of transforming partner relationships by demonstrating how you help partners understand the offer and support the needs of markets they are managing bringing these to successful outcomes. You will be experienced in delivering end to end campaigns from creation though to measurement of effectiveness and indication of areas for improvement This role requires the ability to clearly understand the customer challenges and provide expertise and support to simplify the purchasing process/ You will also have strong problem-solving skills and be able to develop your strategy for account growth. The Corporate business development manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy within this partner base. They will develop relationships within the partners organisation and understand how we support our partners growth. They will partner with our marketing teams to define action-oriented plans that make a difference to our Corporate partners. They will be an advocate for key customer requirements and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure these are met. They maintain close relationships through the channel to provide a complete understanding of the partners needs They will explore and create new opportunities and business in focus markets as well as understanding market insights to identify our next growth opportunities. They will perform regular training to ensure our partners have a strong understanding of our offers and facilitate additional support requests from our partners. They will proactively manage business reviews of accounts and secure our opportunities for growth The BDM will need to master working though complex processes across our sales and marketing organisation and ensure they can identify paths to success. Key collaborators will be our product lines, back-office functions as well as sales and marketing teams They will ensure they are kept updated of market trends and are able to inspire and communicate to our internal stakeholders and influence where decisions need to be taken Qualifications Experience Required Field Sales experience required We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable travelling across the South of England Ideally the candidate will have re-seller experience The candidate is not required to have electrical experience however we are looking for a candidate with some form of technical sales experience within their industry The successful candidate will be comfortable presenting to Corporate clients We are looking for a highly enthusiastic driven candidate who has a passion to grow their client base The successful candidate will have experience of increasing sales with existing clients We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate experience of year-on-year growth with their client base The successful candidate will have experience with a CRM database utilizing data to assist them with their sales plan We are looking for a candidate who thrives working to targets Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who is degree qualified Strong Analytical skills are required for this position A Clear communicator who is presentable is required What Eaton offers?
