You will be responsible for leading a team of experienced business development managers within the UK. This role will deliver our strategy for the IT channel and help optimise operational aspects of our channel business. You will be responsible for delivering business growth through existing customer base as well as focusing on new account acquisition. In this role you will interface with internal function to deliver the growth we aspire to achieve. The successful candidate will have demonstrated a strong sales background and will either have experience of managing a sales team or demonstrate strong leadership competencies. Your main responsibilities: Develop a high-performing team through leadership, coaching and a culture of learning, adaptability and use of digital tools/assets Deliver the IT Channel strategy achieving the team’s financial commitments to the business Develop sales business plans that will deliver our business today and focus the developing needs of the IT channel to secure our future business Managing the sales performance of the team, using situational coaching to support the sales team and ensure successful execution of plans Maintain relationships across our customer base, connecting across multiple internal stakeholders, decision makers and influencers. Analyze the market and provide market intelligence to the management on a regular basis Drive revenue growth though a set of defined accounts Use and embrace the digital sales enablement tools to maximize success Be an advocate for continuous improvement and data driven decision making. Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Years and area of experience required: 5 years of sales experience (previous sales management experience a plus). Technical knowledge: Channel Experience, Proven sales performer, Data driven pipeline analytics, financial acumen, industry business challenges and priorities.
