The IT Compliance Specialist is part of the IT Compliance, Monitoring and Assurance and is responsible for supporting IT controls owners throughout the Tech business unit to document, maintain & monitor internal controls in line with our risk appetite and to maintain the quality of our internal IT processes. The IT Compliance Specialist works closely with stakeholders from multiple departments. This position requires to have a strong IT process focus, but be able to zoom in and out of the details to ensure IT controls are fully understood.

B.Responsible: 

• Clearly articulate IT controls narratives in the assigned area of responsibility.
• Monitoring of control implementation and execution and escalation to management through the defined escalation path when any issues are identified.
• Promote control owners accountability for IT controls documentation 
• Assess controls to provide assurance of control performance
• Looks for ways to increase the business impact of the team and improve the team’s services and how the team functions.
• Provide advice on control design that is both sustainable and right sized (i.e. a simple solution for a simple problem, no overengineering).
• Stay flexible to meet the dynamic business needs, while maintaining robust solutions that strengthen the control environment.
• Build knowledge of internal controls, systems and process landscape to enable clear understanding of impact.
• Able to split large tasks into logical, manageable and decoupled actions which are managed effectively and delivered on time.

B.Skilled  

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, IT auditing, IT governance, risk management or IT internal controls 
• Business or IT degree / certificates (CISA, CISM)
• Strong understanding of risk and controls
• Strong working knowledge of one or more frameworks/regulations such as SOX, ISO27001, PCI, GDPR
• Remains up to date on any relevant regulations/internal policies and stays in touch with the business to understand any changes that could impact the control environment. 
• Assists in the development and leading of regular training/awareness programs to train and educate process & control owners on internal controls topics
• Energized by change and solution oriented
• Good communicator, quick thinker & confident in decision making
• Can work independently, while still a strong team player
• Enthusiastic, self-starting and thrives in changing, agile environments
• Fully comfortable working in English, both written and spoken
