Join our team of about 293 000 colleagues around the globe and help us creating environments that care Roles & Responsibilities The role of the IT Consultant Demand Planning will be key to design short and long-term panning scenarios, to support the global business critical Demand Planning and S&OP Processes as well as the implementation of the new SAP IBP planning tool (as the successor of SAP APO) Business consulting for the planned international SAP IBP implementation Gather business requirements and lead business workshops to perform as-is process analysis, to-be process design and solution architecture Write business blueprints, functional (and technical) specifications Review change requests, technical IBP concepts and guide the implementation (planning) Define the SAP IBP data modelling requirements and guide the data experts on realizing the data requirements, to ensure high data quality Conduct and support unit, integration and user acceptance tests and key user training Perform (second line) support to existing SAP APO DP solution (will be decommissioned) and future SAP IBP DP solution Your Skills: In-dept Functional knowledge of SAP APO and SAP IBP Integrated Business Planning (focus on Demand Planning and Data modeling and provision) Preferably hands-on technical background/expertise of SAP IBP and SAP APO In-depth knowledge of Demand Planning (DP) Processes, Functions and Statistical Forecasting methods In-depth knowledge of DP data modeling, data segmentation, slicing and dicing and aggregated planning (and disaggregation rules) Distinct understanding of supply chain planning process in general Deep technical understanding of data management and flows between SAP ECC, SAP BW, Datamart and SAP IBP to be able to troubleshoot or analyze Good understanding of: Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Modelling, Cloud migration Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPI’s, dashboards and alerts) and identify issues through root cause analysis Solid understanding of complex and modern IT-architecture landscapes Language: English professional level (written & verbal), German is a plus Strong team player in a global business and IT environment Who and where we are Find out why Siemens is chosen every year as one of the most popular employers in Switzerland.
