-IT Strategy & Portfolio Management in the Sub-Region - shared responsibility
Supports the implementing of the IT strategy in the sub region according to Corporate and Divisional IT standards. Supports ContiTech's divisional IT with regards to IT process optimization and long-term implementation plans.
Participates in the planning process by supporting Regional IT Managers

- Service Provisioning - shared responsibility
Ensures availability, performance, sustainability and compliance of all regional IT operational services in the region at optimized costs in close cooperation the the divisional IT Competence Centres.
Takes over regional IT projects and ensures the implementation within the defined project targets.

- People - shared responsibility
Supports the Location IT managers in the Sub-Region
Acts as functional supervisor to the local IT managers

- Policies and Standards - shared responsibility
Is accountable for being compliant to corporate IT standards and guidelines supporting Regional IT Managers

- Vendor Management - shared responsibility
Actively steers and controls external providers to ensure optimal region service provisioning together LITMs and Regional IT managers

- Data Security - full responsibility
Initiates regulary technical data security reviews in the locations with regards to the lastest guidelines
