Job Summary:

  • Work closely with Celestica's market teams and with Celestica's customers to understand what they need to win in their markets
  • Develop IT Capabilities based on the segment's strategy and work closely within the IT organization to deliver roadmaps
  • Mobilize and manage Celestica's IT teams to develop and deploy solutions/projects that address those needs 
  • Explain/market Celestica's IT value propositions, capabilities and solutions to market teams and customers 
  • Ensure completion of key project activities in collaboration with IT Project Management Office, other IT teams, functional teams (operations, quality, supply chain, finance, etc.) and, where necessary, with customer teams and vendors

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build close relationships with Celestica's market teams and customers to understand what IT capabilities they need to win in their markets
  • Serve as a technology advisor to Celestica's market teams and customers on the range of IT capabilities, solutions and services that can address their needs 
  • Qualify and help prioritize customer requirements and demands
  • Manage Celestica's IT teams to analyze, design and deploy IT solutions that address customer needs
  • Be accountable for the completion of key project activities in collaboration with the IT Project Management Office, other IT teams, functional teams (operations, supply chain, finance, etc) and, where necessary, with customer teams and vendors 

In your role, you will:

  • Manage the strategy and capability portfolio: Determine if escalation is required to deal with any gaps in capability roadmap for markets/customers → Informs IT Management Team 
  • Manage customer/stakeholder commitments: Determine if escalation is required to deal with any gaps in capability roadmap for markets/customers → Informs IT Management Team 
  • Detailed Solution Proposal Development: Determine readiness of High-Level Solution Proposal before submitting to customer/market teams and/or customers → Informs stakeholders as defined in Solution Realization Framework
  • Develop, refine and deploy solutions: If prototype or pilot addresses specific market or customer need, determine requirements readiness before submitting to customer/market teams and/or customers for approval → Informs stakeholders as defined in Solution Realization Framework→ Informs stakeholders as defined in Solution Realization Framework
  • Project Management:
    • Determine if escalation is required to deal with any gaps in project execution (including schedule, cost, stakeholder participation, design, development, testing, go-live readiness) → Informs stakeholders as defined in Solution Realization Framework
    • Determine requirements (blueprint) readiness before submitting to customer/market teams and/or customer/market teams and/or customers for approval → Informs stakeholders as defined in Solution Realization Framework
    • Determine go/no-go recommendation before submitting to customer/market teams and/or customers for their go/no-go approval → Informs stakeholders as defined in Solution Realization

Other Responsibilities:

  • Make presentations to market teams and customers
  • Identify technology and market trends to provide guidance to Celestica internal teams in the development of IT roadmaps: priority areas to develop IT capabilities to support market and customer needs 
  • Develop customer profiles: Summary of market ad customer IT needs, org structure and strategic priorities
  • Create monthly IT customer account updates and critical project updates

  • Successful completion of projects (on time, on budget, solution quality)
  • Timely completion of customer profiles
  • Timely completion of proposals
  • Timely completion of market and customer roadmaps

  • Assigns resources - Account teams, IT management team, Business and Technical Architects
  • Prioritizes customer requests - Account teams, IT management team, Business and Technical Architects, Project Managers

 

Required Competencies, Knowledge & Skills

Functional & Technical Competencies:

  • Experience shall include validation of Computer Systems, investigations, and change control in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment 
  • Good understanding of GMP's and GAMP standards including validation process
  • Knowledge of FDA 21CFR Part 11 and other applicable regulations 
  • Understanding of validation plans, IQ, OQ and PQ qualification protocols and reports for computer systems 
  • Understanding of finance terms and concepts
  • Understanding of supply chain terms and concepts
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations terms and concepts
  • Knowledge of IT in the Health Tech markets where we compete

Ideal Experience: 

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including
  • at least 5 years' experience in a product development company/industry, hence has understanding of the tools/applications required to make business team successful.

Language Skills: Mandarin and English. Both are must!

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or College/Technical degree

Travel: 50% - Regional and International travel is required, may be significant during certain times depending on customer or project requirements
