As IT Cyber Security Coordinator you will be responsible for facilitating the adoption of IT Security standards, processes, and tools that are part of the BMW Group Cybersecurity strategy. 

You will initiate and coordinates IT/OT Security assessments (internal/external), conduct IT Security health checks to ensure adherence to IT/OT BMW Group IT Security instructions.

Your function will also provide support as Security-Subject Matter Expert (S-SME) in major Innovation and Digitalization initiatives at BMW Group Plant San Luis Potosi, which includes new IT products developments or enhancements in the different production technologies. 

You will be working closely with application development teams enabling them to ensure secure development and delivery practices.  

Lead the Cybersecurity Awareness program through the development of training campaigns that contribute to developing an IT security culture at all levels of the organization.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering, or Mathematics related field.  

- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or related line of business.

- 3+ years of experience in Information Security Governance.

- 2+ years working with IT Security related technologies.

- IT Security related certificates: ISO27001, CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC

- IT Operations and network infrastructure experience. 

- Fluent business English.
