Micron’s Taiwan sites include sales and technical support in Taipei along with state-of-the-art fabrication facilities in Taichung and Taoyuan that together comprise the company’s DRAM Center of Perfection. The Center’s goal is to achieve the most efficient and effective technology transfer and manufacturing ramp by combining front- and back-end manufacturing, product engineering and technology development roles.

Micron Technology is hiring engineers to be part of our IT Business Solutions Delivery Team within the Enterprise Analytics and Data organization. The Business Solutions Team works closely with Micron’s business functions in all aspects of data, data warehousing, and business intelligence building data assets and moving forward helping business users to build Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. We are looking for individuals with development and modeling skills to be part of our agile development team.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, and advanced analytics projects
• Experience with design, develop, code, test, enhance and debug SSIS packages/flowsis required.
• Well-versed in T-SQL, Tableau or other BI tools and SAP HANA a plus.
• Create virtual data models for use by business analysts
• Collaborate with business users to ensure high quality of data sets are delivered
• Document existing and new work performed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Less than one year of relevant work experience in Data engineering or Data Warehousing
• Strong data modeling, SQL, and ETL (SSIS) skills
• Software Engineering background and experience a plus
• Experience working within a development team and in an Agile model (Scrum and Kanban preferred)
• A passion for data and information with strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
• The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, work environment
• The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision
• The ability to work both independently and on project teams
• Good communication skills in English or TOEIC 650 and above

Education:

B.S. in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related fields
