Main Responsibilities:

1. Working in UOBC SIS (Shared infrastructure Service) team for database administration and operation.

2. Working for database (Oracle and SQL mainly) daily operation independently as well as working with Group team, which include:

• database maintenance and troubleshooting
• database change and upgrade according to Group instruction
• database capacity planning
• database KPI report analysis

3. Project deployment for database implementation and configuration upon application requirement mainly for business expansion in China, including vendor management, documentation, handover etc.

Job Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor Degree or above in Information Technology or Computer Science relevant.

2. Yrs of relevant experience: Above 7 years in working experience for administration and operation in a medium or large sized database application environment.

3. Rich working experience on handling database setup and configuration projects.

4. Strong operational processing concept on change management, incident management and capacity management.

5. Strong operational processing concept on QA and IS management.

6. Specific knowledge & skills:

• Knowledge: Knowledge and working experience on varies server model and OS, e.g. AIX, Linux, Oracle, or Windows, is better
• Language: Good oral and written skills in both English and Mandarin
• Computer: Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Other skills: 1, Capability and willing to learn new knowledge; 2, Hardworking, good in communication and teamwork; 3, available for OT

7. Qualification: Oracle OCA, OCP, OCM, MCSE SQL certificate is better.
