Demand Management
- Analysis and evaluation of functional and non-functional requirements in terms of feasibility and compatibility with global workplace strategies (client, mobile, backend, cloud)
- Identifying business and technical requirements and developing strategic recommendations, road and solutions
- Observing new technologies and deriving opportunities for (strategic) workplace improvement
- Specification and conception of a complexity reduced solution architecture and the necessary components
- Planning, commissioning and responsibility for the development of project management methods
- Mediation between different architectural and business components in the design and planning phase
- Coordination of global solution architecture (s) with business partners
- Handover of the created solutions to business partners and operative units
- Competent consulting for business partners in the development and implementation of a global cross-solution workplace architecture
- Contact person for solution requirements and change management for the business partner
- Maintains high levels of industry awareness through training, conferences and self-development and ensures this knowledge is shared effectively across the business
- Enhance business agility via adopting application portfolio and IT processes to allow quick response to changes in business processes
- Have a good understanding of all systems supporting the relevant business area, to be able to manage, challenge and develop processes related to the specific area
- Actively assess the impact of planned IT changes on critical business processes and minimize risks for disruptions
- Coordinate with own Team Manager and local business owners to get input for planning and to present plans and ideas to have them approved

IT Project Management
- Perform the role as the local IT Project Manager responsible for demand, coordination of projects and resources to implement and/or develop new systems and enhancements
- Participate in global/regional IT solution deployment to support short-term and long-term business objectives; assist in analyzing proper business needs and support users in defining requirements to satisfy business objectives through interviews, workshops and process reviews
- Analyze user requirements for enhancements on existing services, identify possible solutions, estimates and plan the implementation together with relevant groups
- Ensure that project documentation in the relevant repositories is kept up-to-date
- Ensure the project can be done in time, quality and budget

IT Service Operation
- Constant improvement, streamlining and optimization of all functions with appropriate change management of processes

Teamwork / Communication / Reporting
- Pro-actively offer to support and assist other members of the team, and coach new team members in relevant processes, tools, compliance and in adopting a positive work culture
- Communicate with regional and HQ support team and external suppliers/partners to achieve team target
- Report project status/operation status regular base

Others
- Ensure a professional relationship with major IT suppliers within the specific area, to be able to manage chosen suppliers to deliver support and project delivery, according to requested quality
- Management of suppliers relationships including safeguarding contractual IT supplier relationships are in place and incorporate Daimler standard clauses to ensure data protection and data security
- Adhere to all relevant Daimler policies, procedures and standards in order to achieve quality and compliance of solution and services
