Responsibilities
The successful incumbent will be responsible for the overall development and implementation of IT strategy to support the Corporation’s business needs. One should have proven leadership in the following major areas:
- IT Strategy: Be the partner of business. Evaluate and formulate technology directions according to business priorities. Define IT roadmap and ensure quality output. Plan and manage the overall IT resources to maximize the values of investment. Drive improvement through adoption of new technology in business & operations.
- Stakeholder/Vendor Management: Create a culture of business enabler within the IT team. Build trusted relationship with internal clients. Manage external vendors to deliver high quality services and solutions. Be the technology advisor and propose various options for business projects.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Establish IT polices & procedures to enable business needs while ensure internal compliance and security control in place. Facilitate risk assessment and manage risk management processes. Ensure a proper disaster prevention mechanism is in place.
Requirements
- Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Science, Systems Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience, of which minimum 5 years in leadership position accountable for IT performance
- Visionary, versatile and dynamic, passionate with can-do attitude, diplomatic with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various level, able to command impact on people
- Experience in leading and managing multiple IT functions including software development, project management, infrastructure & network, cloud technology, information security and service management is desired. Sound understanding of common applications like ERP & CRM
- Proven track record of managing large scale IT projects and excellent problem solving skills. Preferably to have experience in Agile methodology and certification in PMP & SCRUM
- Familiar with IT best practices and latest technologies
- Excellent command of spoken/written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
