Responsibility

• Work closely with the Hong Kong Information Protection Team to develop technology solutions supporting IT security operations, including platforms to streamline workflow and automate reporting, tools to extract security metrics, and algorithms to analyse metrics for security risk indicators
• Completing development tasks in a timely manner by understanding user requirements, performing technical design and coding
• Researching and evaluating emerging technologies such as big data and machine learning for application to information security use cases

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above, (major in information technology, computer science or a similar discipline is preferred)
• 1+ year of working experience with Data Analytics, DBA or data warehouse is preferred
• Proficient with SQL and VBA
• Experienced with *.NET, python, C++ or other programming languages
• Experienced in HTML5 and other web technologies such as Javascript, ReactJS, AngularJS
• Willingness to learn, proactive and flexible mentality is a must
• Team player and ability to work well in a dynamic work environment
• Good verbal and written English is preferred
