Purpose and Objective of Position
|

IT Engineer is
responsible to support IT Director for projects and implementations in Asia Pacific
that involves infra setup and support the group’s existing and new expansion projects.
He/she should be able to develop the holistic infrastructure and architecture to maintain a high availability IT environment
|
|
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
|
- Knowledge in installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, network equipment, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices
- Implement network security, including building firewalls, managing host security, backup and disaster recovery plans
- Identify utilization patterns and effect on operation/system availability and performance expectations
- Develop IT security guidelines and business continuity plan
- Ensure stable and high availability in retail environment and data center operations
- Participate in project planning for new expansion projects in other regions
- Communicate with HQ in China to maintain standards for overseas implementations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
|
|
Educational Requirements
|
Degree / HD holder in Computer Science / Information System or related disciplines or above
|
|
|
Work Experience
|
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in network / infrastructure support and administration role. Experience in implementing big scale projects
|
|
|
Licenses/Certifications required
|
MCP, MCSE, CCNA or related IT certificate will be an advantage
|
|
|
Critical knowledge & skills including tools, software applications, language, etc.
|
- Fluency in English and Chinese language, written and spoken
- Experience in retail solutions and environment preferred
- Experience in and network, wifi, firewall, DNS, DHCP, domain name, AD, Office 365, AWS administration
- Experience in working with Chinese IT vendors / solutions preferred

Working Conditions / Environment
|
- Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported
- Senior position or Manager will be considered if candidate fulfill the requirements
