RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for resolving any reactive incidents in a timely fashion, within the agreed SLA and to the high quality that a retail business demands.
- Liaise with software and hardware support vendors to resolve reactive incidents and to follow up with proactive measures to prevent reoccurrence across all company technologies.
- Carry out assigned daily, weekly or monthly scheduled tasks.
- Working towards subject matter specialist within the retail Karl Lagerfeld Technologies.
- Document all tasks undertaken within the team including reoccurring issues and processes.
- Provide training overviews on specialist subject matter to the rest of the team and Front Office where applicable.
- Interface with the business concerning pricing and IT related escalations as instructed.
PERSONAL PROFILE
At least 3 years’experience in IT field, with retail/consumer goods/luxury industry exposure is a plus;
Retail experience (including interfacing with customer facing colleagues), solid experience within Retail (RF Scanners/Receipt printers, RFID, Till support, CCTV, TC)
Retail systems such as POS and SCM.
Retail Back Office concept and activities
Industry recognized qualification e.g. MCSE, CCNA
IT Generalist with working knowledge of Windows and Apple end user platforms.
MYSQL & ORACLE database
Hardware configuration and break/fix experience.
Solid technical support experience with PC & MAC, this should include OS (W7/WIN10/OSX), Microsoft Office suite/Apple Life support.
