In our IT Financial Planning and Analysis organization, we have an opportunity for you to drive hands-on improvement in Intel's financial forecasting and reporting.

Finance and IT are on a journey to improve Intel's financial planning, forecasting and analytical processes. This IT Systems Analyst role is specifically tasked with both operating and improving the headcount and spending forecasts and analytics for Corporate Functions Finance and Customer and Seller Solutions. Initially the role will be around 75% operating and 25% improving. Driving regular improvements and simplification, the goal is to reduce the operating effort down to 20% and rotate that role to another global team member so as to focus this role on 100% systems analyst responsibilities.

You will have the opportunity to work with cross-site application developers to manage data for IT-related applications. The team is leveraging the Agile SCRUM methodology and is responsible for the support and the continual evolution of cross-Intel Finance budgeting and analytics solutions. This team is on a journey to support world class Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). It touches all business groups, facilitates cross-corporation events and BKM sharing, drives stronger data analytics with all levels of management, works with senior management and external consultants on corporate projects, and works with both Finance and non-Finance groups.

The operations part of this role involves all planning, forecasting and financial reporting for Corporate Functions Finance and Customers and Seller Solutions. SAP BPC, SAP ECC, Excel and PowerBI will be actively used in the role and in the improvement plans.

IT Systems Analysis work focuses on designing Financial information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture including, but not limited to the next responsibilities:
- Collecting and analyzing information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system.
- Preparing flow charts, models, and procedures and conducting feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
- Estimating the costs of system solutions and preparing project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources.
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
- Leverages agile methodology to design and configure solutions.
- Works closely with business to develop required training, change management and operations process.
- Develop use cases, customer scenarios, and/or demos, and plan and coordinate testing of the newly developed or enhanced applications and provide support.
- Looks for opportunities to automate business process with technology and may provide consultation to users in the area of automating systems.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent at least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, forecasting, systems, cloud technologies and solution implementations.

- 5 Years of experience and strong acumen in finance and accounting, including:
  SAP BPC, SAP ECC, Excel and PowerBI

- High level of English language proficiency.

Preferred

- Experience with enterprise environments, such as SAP HANA, BPC, Data Services and Azure.

- Experience designing and developing reporting solutions using business intelligence and data modeling tools.

- Experience with multiple reporting and visualization techniques.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
