Job Description

Job Purpose:

To perform routine and non-routine tasks related to the installation, repair, maintenance, training, support and disposal of client computer, printer and peripheral hardware and software, and network cabling system.


Duties:

  • Maintain client computer, printer and peripheral systems.
  • Install and implement hardware and software updates and enhancements.
  • Report and log all requests for IT services.
  • Analyze client’s hardware and software problems and offer solutions.
  • Work closely with other IT staff to encourage the productive use of the system’s capabilities.
  • Ensure that YCIS IT inventory list is up to date, assist with annual inventory update.
  • Monitor client’s use of IT hardware and peripherals and report abuse or misuse on any part of the users.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Head of IT.


Skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Corporate IT setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, fluency in conversational English is a must.
  • Strong customer focus, a willing team player and a self-starter.
  • Analytical, good in finding solutions for clients.
