Position Summary:
As a member of IT's Global Network Services (GNS) team, the Infrastructure Analyst maintains and improves Infineum’s global network services. At Infineum, the GNS team ensures that all network services are safe and secure, are modern and up to date with latest technologies, and meet business needs for reliability and performance. The GNS team adopts a “follow the sun” support model, and the GNS Infrastructure Analyst in Shanghai will own the resolution of network-related inquiries and issues that require attention during the A/P working hours. In addition, the GNS Infrastructure Analyst will support local, regional, and global project activities, including upgrades and deployment of new network services. The GNS Infrastructure Analyst will work within the comprehensive IT Service Management Framework that Infineum has developed (based on ITIL principles).
The GNS team supports and manages a broad set of network services for Infineum, including wide area network, local area network, switches, internet connectivity, firewalls, network security, VPN connectivity, voice and video communications. GNS is a small team, and team members work independently and are encouraged to grow their technical and project skills via training and hands-on experience. The position offers growth possibility to other technical or leadership roles within Infineum IT, and candidates for the Infrastructure Analyst role are evaluated on the basis of longer term aspirations and potential suitability for other roles, as well as the fit for the initial role.
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written English skills, as Infineum is a global business with English as the primary communication language.
Key Outputs: What we can expect from you:
Provide operational support to the network-related equipment and infrastructure. This includes all services related to data and voice communications. Activities include configuration, monitoring, patching, and upgrading of existing services, as well as installation and remote configuration of new network-related hardware and software.
Provide support of special projects, such as site renovations, office relocations, network upgrades.
Participate in cost stewardship, review contract agreements and invoices for network- related services.
Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation related to network services.
Perform security reviews; ensure adherence to established security procedure.
Provide oversight of contractors and third service providers, ensuring compliance with contract expectations and safety procedures.

A successful candidate is likely to have:
Diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills in English(written and verbal), able to communicate effectively in a cross cultural environment
CCNA Routing and Switching certification (or equivalent experience) is required. Additional networking technology certifications will be useful.
Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, including packet-level traffic analysis, network routing and switching protocols
In-depth understanding of network security and access control (Firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, IPSec, TACACS, RADIUS, NAC, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS switching software and Cisco ASA firewall software
Experience working with software tools such as Solarwinds Orion, Cisco CSM, Cisco ISE and network analyzers
General knowledge and experience with Project Management and Vendor Management
Strong desire to continually enhance technical skills whilst remaining focused on service delivery
Experience in working in a virtual team with a multi national company (MNC)
2 to 3 years relevant work experience is expected
