As IT Business Service Manager you are responsible for the run and change of the IT infrastructure of MBFS Korea.
You are planning the infrastructure for new IT projects and ensure a cost efficient setup that fulfils all service levels defined with the business.


As a member of the IT management team you participate in the definition of the company strategy and ensure the IT part of its execution is aligned with the global IT and IT Financial Services strategy.

You also take responsibility
- for the Operative planning and the budgets in your area
- for the supplier relationship within the IT department
- for the employee development within your area
- that information security requirements, laws and regulations are followed
These are your focus areas:

Business enabling

You contribute to strategic discussions concerning the company and evaluate alternatives, set up company’s goals and participate in the development of ideas for the progress of business focusing on the IT infrastructure.

IT service delivery

You work proactively to enhance business agility via adopting the infrastructure service portfolio to allow quick responses to changes in business processes and new demands.
You execute an IT service delivery strategy based on local, regional business strategies and the global IT strategy in close cooperation with all business and IT areas.
You ensure that the needs and demands of the business are met.
You define and manage the IT infrastructure, the long term infrastructure portfolio and achieve synergies, efficiency and standardization and deliver results.

Demand management, IT portfolio management, business consulting

You develop new or enhance the existing infrastructure in the market according to Daimler standards. You support and consult the business partner. You ensure consistent service delivery, service availability and SLA fulfilment.

Information security and data protection, risk and compliance

You implement, execute and monitor IT Security concepts for the infrastructure based on global Daimler IT & IT Financial Services standards and local regulations.
You implement appropriate measures to ensure data security.
You maintain ethical standards in accordance with Daimler AG Policies and the Company's compliance Guidelines and Policies including Anti-Bribery and all relevant competition laws.

Personnel management

You implement definitions of roles and responsibilities and ensure continual optimization.
You develop the IT infrastructure team, manage recruitment, and oversee personnel development (training requirements, career counseling, job rotation, internal communication and motivation, etc.).
You lead problem solving and resolve conflicting situations with team members.
