Tasks

Prepare and deliver input for the strategic, long term IT plan in collaboration and in line with the business strategic objectives, ITT mission, infrastructure landscape vision and the DAG plans. Provide both strategic and operational input into the business plans and objectives, (as a part of IT management team) and assist with the formulation and delivery of key programs. Build and maintain senior management team relationship within respective IT market organization and relevant head office IT functions.

Manage and control all associated financial objectives within a span of control for ITS/OJ MPC and Daimler AG. Ensure all operational budgets within IT infrastructure, security and cross functions domain are achieved, managed and optimized.

Develop IT organization, manage recruitment, and oversee personnel development (training requirements, career counselling, job rotation, internal communication and motivation, etc.) and set up an environment of leadership based of the Daimler values. Develop career plans for potential employees based on LEAD and make decisions on employee compensation. Lead problem solving and resolve conflicting situations.

Responsible for the structured demand prioritization. Monitor and track planning, building and rollout phases of IT Project portfolio as per Daimler standards. Steer, support, supervise and manage IT projects, groups and committees, ensure periodic reporting. Support and consult processes, IT applications, systems and services with business partner.

Establish close collaboration with fellow teams, IT CoCs, ITT and global partners, local external suppliers to ensure stable, secure and reliable services to the MPC business units. Manage and control the Outsourcing, SLA and OLA contracts.

Fulfil locally Daimler standards regarding IT infrastructure, security and data protection. Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and corporate requirements. Maintain ethical standards in accordance with Daimler AG policies and the Company's compliance guidelines and policies including anti-bribery and all relevant competition law.

Manage IT infrastructure and platforms, operation and consultancy for existing systems (data center, server, network, office automation, telecommunication, mobile and business application systems) and new systems.
