General Summary of the Job: Our company is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a specialization in endpoint security to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure design, deployment, and support, as well as extensive experience with Microsoft Defender antivirus solutions. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT endpoint infrastructure, with a focus on antivirus protection. You will work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure that our systems are secure and operating at peak performance, and you will be responsible for guiding L1/L2 support in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise. Responsibilities: Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions, with a focus on Defender antivirus protection. Configure and maintain Defender antivirus software on all company devices. Monitor antivirus alerts and take appropriate action to mitigate threats. Work with other members of the IT team to identify and address infrastructure vulnerabilities. Develop and maintain security policies and procedures related to antivirus protection. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, including antivirus-related problems. Keep up to date with the latest antivirus and cybersecurity trends and best practices. Collaborate with other team members and share knowledge to expand the teams’ capabilities. On-call availability as needed. Requirements: Minimum Associate degree with preferable emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure design, deployment, and support in large production environments Experience with Microsoft Defender antivirus solutions. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills. Desirable Experience with Microsoft Cloud Security Technologies such as Azure Sentinel, Azure Defender, and Azure Log Analytics Experience with Intune policy administration Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
