Job Description

-     The IT Manager interacts with all the Departments, Hardware and Software Maintenance Consultant as well as the PABX Consultant.

-     The IT Manager co-ordinates and assists other departments to get the best out of the Hotel’s EDP systems.

-      To ensure that any preventive maintenance required by any EDP equipment in the Hotel is carried out on scheduled time, establish a maintenance checklist of all EDP Equipment installed in the Hotel and ensure that a properly controlled physical environment is created to accommodate all the hardware required by all systems.

-      To follow through the timely repair and return to service of any faulty systems or items of equipment.

-      Be required to work at irregular hours and ready/available on call basis in case of minor system failures and emergencies.

-      To respond to departmental functions as dictated by the Industry, the Company, or the Hotel

-      Ensure proper backup is done by the respective users.

-      Maintain POS system, Material Control and JDS call accounting system.

-      To recommend new system and improvise changes on the MIS systems of the Hotel whenever necessary.
