Responsibilities:

• To initiate and develop the basic infrastructures and outline of the IT department
• To launch IT policies and standard services procedures available for staff and students
• To supervise the IT Services Teams and provide technical support for objectives in the IT strategic plan, produce metrics to manage the IT Services Office
• To drive and support IT related decision making process with key stakeholders
• To develop and manage budget for IT Services, ensuring cost effectiveness.
• To develop a Digital Campus to support teaching and learning, enhance student experience, and deliver efficiencies in support of administrative functions.
• To engage with Institute’s growth, integrate IT capacity and capability
• To provide services which support the scholarly activities of the institute
• To identify and implement emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into teaching, learning & research services.
• To engage with IT staff coaching and appraisal, together with HR creating a coherent IT team
• Day-to-day running of IT projects through the project lifecycle

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related discipline
• Proven record of IT service management and operation excellence. With proven experience towards large site operation is a plus
• Good management skill
• Strong communication skill, Ability to communicate with different levels and departments
• Fluent in English
• Wide range of IT skill
• ITIL certified and good understanding of ITIL concepts
• Good understanding of IT security

Desirable：

• Knowledge and awareness of recent developments in the field of Education
• Knowledge and understanding of IT solutions and information services within a large research-led university or institute
• Experience of IT management in high education institution.
