Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define technology roadmap for infrastructure, back-end system, system security and end-user technology.
  • Implement service and process innovation to deliver better value and greater efficiency to the organization.
  • Plan and lead continuous upgrade of systems and solutions, end-user hardware and software to ensure compatibility and sustainability among systems, internal users and external partners.
  • Set service direction. Liaise and negotiate with services providers to obtain the optimal service arrangements for deliverables, quality, and price and terms. Review and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with IT outsourced or service providers to ensure service delivered is up-to-standard, and continue to drive for improvement.
  • Manage overall IT infrastructure and IT services delivery (through internal team and IT outsourced vendor) to ensure prompt and efficient end-user and back-end system services and support.
  • Maintain effective communications with applications teams and business teams to ensure system environments are operating effectively and end-user services are delivered in high standard to support business usage and growth.
  • Ensure systems implementation, operations, services and end-user usage are conforming to regulatory requirements and industry best-practices for system security.
  • Assist Senior Manager to develop and control the budget and expenditure in system service delivery in order to maximize the value delivered by the IT system and service cost.

 

Requirements:

  • University Degree in computer science or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in IT industry with at least 4 years’ team leader role in infrastructure and end-user service delivery.
  • Sound knowledge in IT Service Management (ITIL) and Information Security (CISSP), related certifications preferred.
  • Solid experience in IT infrastructure and service management, especially in the implementation, migration, and integration of multiple cloud environments (eg. AWS, AliYun, Azure). Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize cloud usage, operations and cost.
  • Proficiency with the latest back-end system and end-user collaboration technology eg. rapid system recovery solutions, next generation system security solutions, latest WAN connection options, MS Office 365, end-point and file server data backup.
  • Extensive skillsets in core system technology, including, Linux and Windows servers, storage, network, firewall, DNS, VPN, computer room facilities, Windows, Mac, ADFS, MS Exchange Server, mobile device management, system security etc.
  • Good understanding of infrastructure and operations requirements for public-facing website applications, internal applications (ERP, HRIS, Intranet etc), and cloud applications.
  • Strong customer service and continuous improvement mindset, able to drive and deliver changes to add-value to the business.
  • Effective vendor management eg. outsourced IT Helpdesk and contract negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. A good team player.
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
