Plant IT Manager

Main Responsibilities

1) Implement & maintain software applications, technical and communication infrastructures in use

2) Collaborate as appropriate to ensure the best usage of existing applications in the portfolio and contribute to functional alignment of the site

3) Working with the infrastructure team, ensure that standards are properly enforced and new releases/ infrastructure projects are properly communicated and deployed in the SITE

4) Manage site user service relationship and serve as the “go to” person for the site

5) Guarantee at the site level the correct delivery of any software, communication and technology services in use

6) Interface local functions collecting needs and requirements

7) Be the service provider for Engineering, Automation and Quality Information Systems

8) Select and manage local ICT suppliers

9) Apply at site level IT procedures and policies including software licensing

10) Apply at site level the company physical and logical security rules

11) Assure IT project coordination (with local or central resources and approach)

12) Any other responsibility defined by direct or functional supervisor or managers

Main Duties

1) Execute system administration activities on local business application systems

2) Execute end users support on C&T issues and on personal software for individual productivity

3) Implement an ITS-Risk Management Culture for the site.

4) Meet local IT suppliers for services and equipments

5) Prepare and issue local purchasing request for IT investment

6) Coordinate and organize IT technical maintenance activities to reduce application downtime

7) Support end user in case of ordinary needs

8) Receive, verify, classify and perform any IT system authorization requests

Further Requirements

1) Behave in line with Core values and adhere to Company policies and procedures

2) Good at both verbal & written English

3) Technical skill on operating system, networking and database

4) ERP system methodology and approach

5) Project and resource management attitude

6) Proactivness and Client orientation

7) Microsoft Office (especially, excel, word, power point)

8) Solid experience in industrial environment

9) Bachelor’s Degree or above in Engineering / Economics or equivalent

10) 5 years experience in a similar position
