IT Officer in the Finance and Enterprises Office (Ref.: 498554) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a recognized degree or a Higher Diploma in Computer Science or related disciplines, with at least 3 years' solid working experience in user support and data extraction (e.g. by SQL tools), system implementation and testing on ERP systems. Those who possess professional skills in using MS Access and Excel as well as programming for office automation would have an advantage. Applicants should be a good team player with innovative thinking, good communication skills, the ability to learn fast, work under pressure with minimum supervision and deliver results within tight timeframe. They should also have the ability to multi-task, and be result-oriented and self-motivated. The appointee will assist in the implementation of system applications; carry out data retrieval, analyses and projections; perform programming of office automation and provide user support for system applications.
