IT Officer in the Information Technology Services (ITS) (Ref.: 497059) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) related discipline with at least 2 years’ relevant experience; a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. They should have good knowledge and relevant experience in IT Service Management (e.g. ITIL) and Project Management (e.g. PRINCE2); Linux/Unix/Windows OS, TCP/IP networking and application server/infrastructure; operating, monitoring and managing servers, load balancers, SAN and other storages; automating daily system management tasks through scripting and/or package; and maintaining system security. Preference will be given to those with experience in infrastructure design, implementation and operation; technological areas like Cloud, Office 365, Exchange and SharePoint; software-defined data centre functions, such as network, storage and compute functions; and knowledge of Peoplesoft ERP application infrastructure, DevOps, IoT technologies, Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ITIL.
