IT Officer in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 495573) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline with at least 4 years’ relevant work experience in website/CMS development. Experience in e-Learning platform (i.e. edX, Moodle) development is preferable. They should have good senses in visual and graphic presentations as well as practical knowledge in website design & internet programming languages/tools (CSS 3, HTML 5, PHP, MYSQL Java Script, MySQL, Wordpress, etc). They should also have strong problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills and be a good team player. The appointee will be responsible for developing and maintaining e-Learning platforms, project websites, web applications and programming work; and perform other duties as assigned by Faculty office.
