IT Officer in the Information Technology Services (Ref.: 498652) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary; or on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field; a good command of written and spoken English; and good communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills. They should also have good knowledge of and relevant experience in web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Java Servlet, Node.js, Python); native/hybrid mobile app development (Framework7, Vue.js, Cordova, Objective C, Swift); and data integration (REST API, JSON). Preference will be given to those with post-qualification experience as a full-stack mobile app developer, knowledge of Oracle database, PL/SQL and certification in ITIL v3 and PRINCE2. The appointee will be responsible for the development of mobile and web applications with the potential usage of IoT sensors.
