IT Officer, Beijing (CHI-BSS-0026)
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM
The China Resources Team is part of the wider Business Support Team which also includes IT, Finance, and Human Resources. The IT officer is a member of resources staff and reports to the IT Manager.
We have a richly diverse staff, the majority of whom are Chinese nationals. We also have a growing number of overseas staff. These include senior managers in the diplomatic entity – UK nationals with diplomatic status, and other colleagues of both British and other nationalities, including several hundred examiners.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY
You will provide front-line technical support for users of British Council about IT, telecoms and other technology. You will manage the IT services delivery in collaboration with Global Service Desk & Regional HUB. You will be responsible for purchase, introduction, management and disposal of IT equipment in accordance with British Council global policy and practice.WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT IT

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You must have a university degree and bring along at least 2 years IT support and administration experiences. You should be experienced in office IT equipment troubleshooting and familiar with Windows 7/10 and Office 2010/365.
