Job Description

The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Solution Group within the SCIT (Supply Chain IT) Value Stream in Intel IT is focused on transforming and digitalizing our Demand, Sales, and Operations Planning (SnOP) and Long-Range Planning (LRP) processes. This includes aligning our processes and solutions to industry-standard best practices, where appropriate, and leveraging a common set of master data and hierarchies. This is an exciting time to join the team as we are in the middle of major process transformations intended to deliver the right products to our customers at the right time and right cost. This product owner role is focused on the process transformation of Demand, including our planned 2022 production deployment, stabilization, and EOL of legacy solutions as appropriate. Key partners for this role include regional and divisional business demand planners and leadership, as well as IT partners spanning Supply Chain and Finance. The ideal candidate will be inquisitive, motivated, and have a strong affinity for problem-solving using a combination of business process knowledge, business acumen, and partnership skills required to transform the underlying business processes by leveraging technology.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Translates business strategy and objectives into actionable process roadmaps and value delivery in close partnership with the business
  • Validates feasibility of ideas via an understanding of customer product expectations, conducting design due diligence, and evaluating business value and risks
  • Partner with Demand Forecasting and SnOP stakeholders to define, prioritize, deploy, sustain, enhance, and sunset process capabilities when needed, managing business expectations and acceptance throughout
  • Accountable to key Demand and SnOP stakeholders for the delivery of IT solutions. Key ownership areas will be the data foundation used in-demand analytics and IBP templates
  • Collaborates with the business on business-owned user acceptance testing and training where appropriate
  • Gathering business requirements from business stakeholders across BUs, regions, and Finance
  • Maintain and build stakeholder relationships and effectively communicate across teams
  • Keep abreast of the latest process trends for key planning functions including demand, supply, and finance.
  • Partner with corresponding IT teams to translate business requirements into executable technical features and user stories

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in system/business analysis integrated with a larger program using Scrum, Kanban, or similar Agile development methodology working with global teams
  • 5+ years of experience in systems/biz analysis, process mapping, and work-flows


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Intel's Demand and Revenue Forecasting processes
  • Knowledge in Business Relationship Management
  • Experience in Demand Forecasting and Planning process transformations

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications.
