Job Overview:
- Vans IT Product Owner in a DevOps scrum team producing the next generation Vans eCommerce product for MBUSA. We are looking for a strong IT Product Owner that partners with the business product owner to deliver “the best or nothing” online shopping experience. The IT Product Owner with a DevOps team deliver eCommerce features as per the product multiyear roadmap. This position works closely with multiple programs, product owners, enterprise architects to deliver seamless customer-centric online shopping experience.


The main PO working closely with technical experts / architects leading all the development / operations teams for the Vans eComm system landscape. This typically includes the following responsibilities:
- The main translator of the business requirements into high-level technical requirements for the different systems / DevOps teams. At this level the requirements would still need to be split by the POs / DevOps teams into stories.

- Define and control the bounded contexts of each system and defining which system should provide which functionality

- Facilitate the technical communication flow between the different DevOps teams


Responsibilities:
- Lead the DevOps team with look-ahead and bridge building mindset. Provide hands-on technical support and guidance for defects or issues that arise for the product. (10%)

- Participate and be a part of the DevOps team in scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective. (30%)

- Review & develop cloud-based and on-premise solution architectures that integrate into standard technologies such as OIDC, Apigee, and DevOps toolsets implemented across MBUSA globally. (20%)

- Record IT requirements (functional and non-functional requirements), designing/documenting solutions, and establishing processes for business enabling, business-critical and mission-critical (high availability) systems. (15%)

- Ensure that the developed code based on best practices and frameworks to ensure compliance with security standards and industry standards. (20%)

- Manage the eCommerce Vans Product budget as MBUSA employee. (5%)
