Job Description

Our client requires an IT Project Management Consultant for a 4 to 6 month, primarily remote engagement with their facility in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, China. This full-time PM position will manage the implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) for the client’s customer. The intention is to help guide the client's customer on their needs and be able to communicate back to the client on expectations.

  • This IT Project Manager must be able to read and write Mandarin as well as English.
  • The ideal Consultant will have a PM background and understand Quality and IT in a pharmaceutical industry.
  • A Project/Program Manager with extensive system implementation experience within the pharmaceutical industry will be the best fit for the client. 
  • Consultant will be required to travel to China for no more than $25% of the project duration. Must be able to cater to both China and Israel time zones, and facilitate meetings for both the client, as well as their customer.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration, engineering, sciences, business or related field.
  • Preferred: Master’s in Business Administration, Bachelor's or above in Engineering, Science
  • Minimum of 10+ years project management experience.
  • Preferred:  PMP certification or higher
  • Industry experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare or related business.
  • Experience in operations, quality, project management, or related fields.
  • International work experience a meaningful plus.
  • Ability to facilitate and lead cross-functional meetings with C-level participants and subject matter experts.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, conscientious and extremely well organized.
  • Ability to exercise considerable judgment, maintain confidentiality, and act in a diplomatic manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant to industry demands.
  • Willingness to travel.
