Job Description

Position Overview / Purpose:

IT Project Manager toimplement initial China IT digital project(in E-Commerce area)in the meanwhile lead the feasibility study for future digital projectspipeline includes but not limited to local website set up, WeChat based SocialCRM, Call Centre solution, CRM and SFE solutions, etc.

The IT Project Manager hasthe overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning,

design, execution, monitoring,controlling and closure of projects in accordance with the IT

Project Management Frameworkand project stakeholder expectations.


Accountabilities:

Accountability 1: Project Management

? Provide overall leadership anddirection for specific projects undertaken by the Information Technology groupensuring project objectives are aligned and comply withorganisational goals, strategy and project objectives.

? Ensure projects are delivered to theagreed scope, schedule, cost and quality to the satisfaction of the Project Sponsorsand Stakeholders.

? Develop, implement and gain approvalof the Project Management Plan and project documentationdeliverables described therein.

? Organise and co-ordinate the executionof the project activities in an appropriate sequence, in line withthe Project Management Framework.

? Manage project stage gatesto ensure that project deliverables are governed in accordance withthe Project Management process.

? Perform Risk Management and activelymanage risks and issues.

? Manage the project budgetand escalate budget issues to

the Project Sponsor andappropriate stakeholders.

Accountability 2: Stakeholder Management, Communication,Reporting and Change Management

? Manage stakeholders and align changewith the project initiative.

? Development of RACI matrices to ensureclear understanding of project stakeholder roles andresponsibilities.

? Conduct project activitiesin the spirit of Cochlear’s values.

? Ensure consistent, effective deliveryof organisational change management solutions in order to maximise benefitsrealisation.

? Planning and delivery of changemanagement impact and readiness assessments.

Accountability 3: Resource Management

? Provide management of resourcesassigned to the project or the work package:

? Ensure scope is effectively decomposedto identify all resources necessary to meet the project deliverables.

? Liaise with Program Manager and/orsponsor to ensure that required resources are pre-assigned or procured for thenecessary activities within the determined timelines

? Design activities to ensure that theapplication of constrained resources such as Finance Subject Matter Experts toactivities is optimised by matching tasks to appropriate skill sets; use ofeffective briefings; and, similar techniques.

? Ensure roles and responsibilities areclearly defined including agreed statements of work where external consultantsare deployed.

Accountability 4: Operations Transition

? Ensure that project deliverablesare effectively transitioned to the Operational teams.

? Manage transition scheduling inalignment with service release management cycles.

? Ensure appropriate documentation andtraining for Operations transition is delivered in alignment with supportrequirements


Team Role (Individual contributor):

? Follow relevant quality procedures inorder to deliver quality products and services and identify and support theimplementation of continuous improvement.

? Contribute ideas on systems andprocess methods to improve deliverables

? Work safely, complying with all safetyprocedures, rules and instructions; and reporting

? workplace hazards, incidents orinjuries to manager


Key Incumbent requirements:

Minimum:

? 3-5 yrs experience working in small -medium organisations in a similar role.

? 3-5 yrs experience in leading projectswhere agile development methodologies are employed.

? Experience in the management andimplementation of IT Projects including stakeholder and change managementaspects.


Ideal:

? Qualification and/or knowledgein Project Management frameworks such as PMP or Prince2

? Degree level qualification

? Experience in managing project deliveryin the Oracle eBusiness space
