The Center’s goal is to achieve the most efficient and effective technology transfer and manufacturing ramp by combining front- and back-end manufacturing, product engineering and technology development roles.

Job Description

As an IT Application Service engineer for Software Service Operation Team, you will be responsible to our software distribution group, you will work on supporting tickets, making sure we provide the proper solution to our customers, and advance ticket to the right support teams. Making sure our customer is satisfied for the services. Identify the process flaw or the system gaps and propose standard methodology to make our service better. Join the on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support. Understanding the urgency of our customer request and take necessary step to provide the resolution and follow our SLA.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Work with the team and customer to analyze problem, find solution, maintain our application stability.
  • Create system knowledge documentation, testing, training, and post-deployment assessments.
  • Install, configure, support, and maintain web solutions with current OS/software/firmware patches and upgrades.
  • Coordinate planned downtime and software installs of assigned servers.
  • Provide 24x7 on-call technical support and expertise for customer issues
  • Evaluate and test new software for compatibility with the computing environment.
  • Propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
  • Communicate and collaborate with peer groups (enterprise architects, security team, network team, etc.).

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in computer science preferred.
  • 6+ years related experience required.
  • Good English communication skill
  • Excellence knowledge in C, C++, C# programming language.
  • Good knowledge with T-SQL, Store Procedure, MSSQL
  • System administration experience for windows solution is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge on ITIL/ITSM.
