Job Summary

BSI Cybersecurity and Information Resilience seeks an IT Security Manager to oversee our client managed services and internal IT Security operations and infrastructure. This role will include promoting the continuous improvement of productivity, service quality and customer satisfaction. This candidate will have the ability to manage both onsite, virtual and cloud-based IT Infrastructure environments that support the delivery of services to the business and clients.

Responsibilities

BSI requires an experienced candidate with good client facing skills who can mix their technical hands on ability with business understanding and ultimately drive the Cybersecurity and Information Resilience business for BSI.

Working under the guidance of the Service Delivery Manager, the role will involve a mix of responsibilities in the specific area of IT Security.

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the client.

Requirements

At least 3+ years’ IT Security experience is required.

A third level qualification is essential in a related field with possibly some further Information Security education.

Candidates should be proactive, have the ability to take ownership, have a “can do” approach, have a goal of building customer value and can react quickly and with a sense of urgency to requests, issues, emails or other events.

Candidates must be articulate in both written and verbal communication, have a demonstrable experience working in a stand-alone role and have a strong ability to produce well-written and well-presented reports/documentation in Chinese and English languages.

Experience with Microsoft, Networking, and Security Storage along with a number of the following skills would be a good background for the type of person we are looking for.

Soft Skill Requirements

• Breadth and depth of operational management and people management expertise
• Effective communicator that is process driven with a good attention to detail. A strong leader, you will have an aptitude for problem solving and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Service delivery experience is preferred
• Demonstrate the ability to deliver projects and services on time and on budget.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL/ISO 20000, ISO:9001 and ISO:27001
• Knowledge of security products, SIEM, Log Management, Performance Management, Availability Reporting Tools.
• Relevant university degree and/or professional qualifications
• This role is primarily for someone who wished to advance their career, someone who has some supervisory /management experience and who has the ability to help build a dept.

Technical Requirements

• Windows Operating Systems, *nix operating systems
• Network devices such as routers, switches
• Security Devices such as IDS, IPS, Firewall, VPN, UTM, Gateway AV and monitoring solutions, Authentication Devices (RADIUS, TACACS, Two Factor Auth etc)
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP protocol, NAT, routing etc
• General IT maintenance skills for servers and network equipment including user account management, backup, patching, RAID, internet connectivity
• Client facing experience and on-site experience.
• Good troubleshooting and support skills.
• Familiarity with Windows and other vendor event logs
• Log Management and Event reporting
• Report writing skills
