Duties and responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the proper daily operations of the Linux systems including install, maintain and patch/upgrade Linux OS and various application software;

2.Advanced troubleshooting and complex issue resolution, must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as required;

3.Daily operations of Linux based surveillancesystem Nagios/Zabbix/Prometheus and with new function/requirement investigate and implement;

4.Cooperation with developers on implementation of new versions of applications on VM or kubernetes;

5. Administration of VMware vCenter and ESXi server;

6. Monitor system events to ensure health, maximum system availability and service quality;

7. Build related "script"s to finish the daily job automatically and massively;

8. Maintain documentation regarding configurations, operations and troubleshooting procedures related

to the Linux platform;

9.Participate to the definition of standards, guidelines, best practices and metrics as directed;

10. Assist in evaluating new requirements, technical design and standards as project or operation required;

11.Carry out all other related tasks.

Requirements:

1.Bachelor degree or above (preferably in Computer Science) ,5 years of experience in Linux systems administration in a 300+ servers environment,RHCE/RHCA/VCP/VCAP is preferred;

2.Skilled in basic Linux systems management, such as server installation,lvm, bash, yum/rpm, grub, fileprivilege;

3.Skilled in service management, such as DNS, sFTP, NFS,skilled with monitoring system Nagios/Zabbix/Prometheus,skilled in any one of Shell/Python/Perl;

4.Skilled with web service Apache/Nginx/Tomcat,skilled in one of middleware management such as rabbixMQ, redis, kafka,skilled with configuration tools ansible,skilled with docker/Kubernetes;

5.Skilled with one of HA/LB solution, such as keepallived/nginx /haproxy;

6.Skill with services relateds with kubernetes such as consul, etcd, flannel;

7.Skilled with Vsphere/Esxi management,skilled with HP hardware(Blade/Rack server, storeeasy),knowledge in transfer protocol, like TCP/IP, http, https;

8.Knowledge in network constructions, like TCP/IP, OSI, router, switch, spam,knowledge in ITIL,knowledge in one of the DB system, like mysql/oracle/mongoDB;

9.Knowledge in cloud hosting providers, i.e: Amazon Web Services;

10.Knowledge in ELK is preferred;

11.Skill in developing techniques and methodologies to resolve unprecedented problems or situations;

12.Ability to multi-task and prioritize;

13.Be a team player;

14.Good in written English;

15.Oral English is preferred.
