We are currently seeking an IT Senior Manager, Materials Management and Digital to join our Product Operations Center of Excellence (PROCOE) team. No relocation is being offered for this position. The candidate will be based at any Eaton facility in the US. If the candidate resides within 50 miles of Beachwood, Ohio, the candidate must work at that site. If the candidate resides more than 50 miles away from Beachwood, Ohio, the candidate will work from a remote Eaton facility or an approved home office. The Senior Manager IT – Materials Management and Digital is responsible for leading the solution strategy & selection, deployment, governance support, integrity and ongoing management of Eaton’s Supply Chain Materials Management Solutions including demand planning, supply planning and inventory management. This position will also be responsible for the supply chain digital transformation delivery including the supply chain planning, supply chain network, supply chain execution, control tower and a digitally connected ecosystem. In this role collaboration with individuals across COE’s and levels (staff to SLT) to gain an understanding of business objectives, facilitate solutions, develop approaches and define deliverables required to implement complex business processes and solutions. The individual will lead a team of functional analysts with deep understanding on materials management principles and technologies with a digital mindset focused on future state technologies. The incumbent will guide and provide ultimate direction for projects while being responsible for solving highly technical and complex problems and maintaining the highest level of influence on projects and stakeholders. New and innovative technologies within the SCM landscape (including, but not limited to SIOP Tools, Supplier Collaboration Tools, Digitally connected ecosystem and Control Towers) will be evaluated, recommendations and business cases presented to SLT. In this role: You will provide strategic alignment between IT and the operations/functions across the Enterprise (Corporate, Industrial and Electrical Sectors). Has the unique ability to put him/her in the shoes of the operational leadership to solve their business problems and has built the appropriate relationships to proactively influence and effect changes in Eaton operations. You will understand key priorities and strategic initiatives of the operations/function in order to identify the appropriate use of technology and supported processes within operations to meet the strategic objectives, align opportunities/ projects across the business and to drive the prioritization and resource allocation within the IT project portfolio. You will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels and across multiple functions. Communicates frequently with Internal and external customers at a senior level (plant managers, directors, etc.). Communicates and reinforces project status, prioritization and timing back to the organization including the communication of critical success measures, issues, and mitigation strategies. You will be accountable for project delivery and overall customer satisfaction with a focus on the Enterprise Supply Chain focused on Materials Management and SCM Digital Ecosystem. You will be responsible for the strategic roadmap & delivery of applications such as (but not limited to) Demantra, SAP IBP, Supply Chain Networks, Supplier Visualization & Other Supplier Collaboration Tools. You will build strong working relationships with senior IT management and group Vice Presidents of manufacturing, quality, and SCM functions. You will recommend, manage and deploy technical solutions supporting a global user base. You will stay current on leading tools, techniques, and trends that should be adopted by Eaton’s Supply Chain Enterprise and Operational Teams. Has a strong knowledge of multiple process areas and the linkages between them while demonstrating process expertise across the Eaton Supply Chain. You will manage large, complex projects - often in parallel. Provide coaching and mentorship to functional analysts, solution architects, and project managers. You will work closely with multiple business units and large groups to develop conceptual designs as well as create business and technical requirements that can be easily identified and traced. You will analyze and understand complex (and often ambiguous) operational and supply chain business practices. You will ensure solutions released by the organization have comprehensive “User Acceptance Test” plans based on defined requirements. You will build a sustainable staffing model to keep the support, system integrity and ongoing management of Eaton’s Supply Chain Applications. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum 10 years of IT experience with concentration in Materials Management Minimum 7 years’ experience directly managing teams. Position Criteria: Strong understanding of Materials Management (Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization) and Digitally Connected Supply Chains. Deep understanding of the supply chain processes and applications within Eaton and the Industry. Advanced to Expert understanding of manufacturing, quality, and supply chain processes at Eaton or a prior Company; Intermediate to Advanced application knowledge; Intermediate to Advanced technical knowledge of computer hardware and software, data management, application programming, data communications, operating systems, utilities and data security; Advanced to Expert understanding of integration and impact points (boundary systems) of involved systems globally; Advanced to SME understanding of some of Eaton key application(s) and/or IT Infrastructure; Advanced understanding of technology stack and architecture required to Eaton's Supply Chain Applications. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $136,600 - $200,000 a year, with flexibility based on experience and skill level.
