Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Coordination of activities of project team including identification of appropriate resources needed to ensure timely completion of project within budget;
2. Manage the survey, design, cost estimation, and procurement and implementation of infrastructure;
3. Documentation of project risks and issues with facilitation of resolution plan(s);
4. Communication of project status to stakeholders, management and senior IT leadership;
5. Assure quality of work by coordinating review prior to implementation with appropriate written documentation;
6. Recognize and advise leadership of concerns and/or issues, and provide appropriate follow up to identified issues;
7. Coordinates activities necessary to accomplish the expected outcomes of multiple initiatives as assigned by management. May assist in the delegation, coordination and motivation of staff;
8. Provides proactive, effective communication with verbal and written status reports, manages meetings and facilitates requirements, problem solving;
9. Maintains an understanding of the organization and the tools available in order to successfully plan work detail and schedule resources to meet target dates. Coordinates multiple activities, set priorities and provides direction to others;
10. Maintains an understanding of the industry-wide changes and trends of technology development and applications.
Requirements:
1. Strong people skills, communication and collaboration;
2. 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure projects, similar to those mentioned above;
3. Understanding of common IT infrastructure physical components – servers, storage, network, backup devices and similar;
4. Knowledge of common infrastructure applications and logical components and technologies – virtualization, DNS, DHCP, AD, clusters, TCP/IP protocol, SAN/NAS, webservices, middleware, databases, cloud, etc.;
5. Proficient in English language, both written and spoken;
6. Ability to facilitate within cross-functional teams to solve problems at their root, develop common continue improvement techniques;
7. Ability to assess the risks and benefits of proposed solutions, challenge and coach the technical teams to think in broader perspectives;
8. Master's degree or higher in IT, electrical engineering or similar discipline.
