Objective – Work within the Service Provider Management Organization, specifically the Services and Contract Management Team to assist with Supplier reporting and KPI analysis, leveraging Power BI and multiple data sources.  In addition, support Supplier Quality Management to learn regulatory compliance and assist with process automation.  The Intern will gain valuable experience in how IT sources, contracts and manages third party service providers.


Developmental Aspects – The Intern will learn about Siemens Healthineers IT internal services, with a deep focus on supplier management and performance assessment topics.    Experience will be “hands on” in the improvement and automation of supplier management tools for reporting and quality oversight.  Communication skills will be developed through everyday work with direct team members, other IT staff, and SHS teams.   The Intern will be exposed to and required to perform various tasks that will enhance analytical skills via various tools and methods.  Information provided by suppliers will require comparative analysis that must be transformed into written reports.


Responsibilities:

  • Learn and actively engage in Service Provider Management team functions, operating as a full member of the team. 
  • Participate in the delivery of supplier reporting and KPI analysis, using various data sources and visualizing with tools such as Power BI. 
  • Analyze supplier survey results and prepare to present key points.
  • Assist in fulfilling and automating supplier quality management processes
  • Prepare status and progress updates, including recommendations for presentation to management.

Requirements:

  • Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Business major
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 and must be a rising junior/senior
  • Must feel comfortable working in a fully virtual environment if necessary and be local to the Malvern, PA office (50 miles or less)
  • Must be available to work full-time (up to 40 hours/week) during September 2021 – March 2022
  • Familiar with Java, .NET, JavaScript or HTML/DHTML
  • Experience using Microsoft Office365
  • SQL knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
