IT Site Manager Siemens Mobility IT is seeking an energetic and service-focused Site Manager professional to support Siemens Mobility Canada. The IT Site Manager position is a unique role on the front lines of Siemens Mobility’s burgeoning presence in the Canadian rail market. Providing world class service and support to our Siemens Mobility Canada locations should be a challenge this candidate seeks. The Siemens Mobility Canada business supports customers and their railway safety critical operations, and this IT position holder is a central ingredient to this success. Responsibilities: Be the single-point-of-contact for all IT activity at Siemens Mobility sites in Canada Support identification of business process improvements, implementation of best practices, introduction of new technology/existing IT services and full utilization of technology system capabilities - deliver innovative solutions to the Siemens Mobility Canada business! Collaborate amongst various disciplines across IT Provider teams, Siemens IT groups, SMO IT global teams (Product Lines, etc.) and MO IT Americas team to address various operations, innovation and business process topics Provide technical guidance across network, server, mobile device, and digital workplace platforms Available as on-call to respond to operational emergencies as needed Profile: Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar team function Location: Toronto, Montreal or immediate vicinity Education: Bachelor of Science in IT or proven experience for this job profile Proficient use and understanding of IT ticket handling processes, concepts and principles Experience with key Microsoft 365 platforms: SharePoint Online, OneDrive, TEAMS · Bilingualism in English and French (oral and written) is a plus Proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, etc.) Strong practical knowledge of ISEC and CySec principles, protocols and technologies Experience with VMware / Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization technologies · Knowledge in Cisco VoIP telephony, Networking technology (Soft) Skills Self-motivated / entrepreneurial mindset / customer focus / collaborator / quick learner Enjoys problem solving – be a disruptive thinker and look for innovative ways to solve problems Must be capable of self-setting priorities, multi-tasking and working under pressure Be able to simplify and convey technical information to users AND aptly translate user requirements to technical solutions and services Curiosity of further expanding knowledge and understanding of technology Good interpersonal skills (calm, tact, diplomacy) Organization: Siemens Mobility Company: Siemens Mobility Limited Experience Level: Mid-level Professional Job Type: Full-time Siemens is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
