Your Challenge:

• Do you want to help the employees at Philips get the right IT tools so they can do their work properly? Do you want to advise on software usage to make sure we don’t buy too many licenses? Do you have experience in Order Management? Then the role of Software Asset Expert could be your next job!

You are responsible for

• Ensure compliance status for multiple vendors is up to date in SAM tool for your portfolio

• Maintain up to date expertise with vendor licensing requirements, terms and options

• Evaluate software usage options for license optimization

• Communicate regularly with software consumers in Philips IT

• Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to advise on optimal software usage

• Maintain awareness of future ASP plans that affect software demand

• Maintain accurate view of software license risk for reporting to Corporate Control

• Participate in software compliance audits to protect Philips reputation and bottom line

• Understanding of different SAM Tools in order to implement Vendor / Software Compliance

You are a part of

• You’ll be working in an international team with colleagues across the globe. Despite having assigned suppliers everybody collaborates together to provide the best service possible to all Philips employees.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• If you have good negotiation and communication skills, then you already possess some of the qualities we need in a Software Asset Expert. If furthermore you have:

• 5-7 years of previous experience in Asset Management or as a Business Analyst for Software licenses

• Degree in Business Informatics or similar

• Can Do Attitude

• Highly Analytical

• Team Player

• Preferred ITIL Certified along with ITAM Certifications

• Understanding of Flexera is an added benefit
