In this role, you will have the opportunity help our drive digital transformation for our Finance business partners.  Our team is looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering web applications with great usability and performance, likes working in close collaboration with a diverse group of IT and business professionals, and is always looking to grow their skills.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to development environment and technical documentation
• Take part in an Agile development process with iterative releases
• Clearly communicate with subject matter experts, Product Owners and other Delivery team members to understand their needs, gather requirements and estimate the work as needed
• Develop tools and frameworks to improve quality, security, reliability, maintainability, availability and performance for the technology foundation of our platform
• Guide and mentor other developers in developing code and workflow procedures
• Extend, enhance and refactor existing solutions as needed
• Participates in code reviews and collaborates with other team members and Delivery teams

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
 

Minimum

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent experience (4 years) in addition to:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience as a software engineer including all of the following:
  • JavaScript
  • React and its core principles
  • Front-end development tools such as Visual Code, NPM, etc.
  • Web services, RESTful, APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
  • CI/CD to deploy code (using Git and GitHub or equivalent tools).
• Advanced English level
• Permanent right to work in CR

Preferred

• Experience with SQL and a strong understanding of relational databases
• Proficiency with Angular and Node.js.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and database scripting.
• Experience with deploying apps to a Cloud Foundry and using its CLI.
• Experience with other languages such as .NET C# and Java
• Experience with Finance business processes in areas like Capital Management, Fixed Asset Accounting, General Ledger processing.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
