As almost all Commercial Vehicle Manufactures, Daimler Trucks Asia (DTA) is facing unknown challenges from future megatrends of Autonomous Driving, Connected and Electrified Trucks, as well as, the automation of Production and Administrative Processes, with the help of IT.
Daimler Trucks Asia aims to be the Frontrunner in the development and implementation of these technologies, and within DTA’s IT Strategy where ‘Data is the new Oil’, DTAs’ IT Department is an integral strategic enabler helping reach these future targets.

Job Description
What you will do:
- IT strategy planning, design and rollout of BoM (Bill of Material component list for sub-assemblies for truck production) related IT system and process.
- Business Consultant/Solution Architect for the replacement of the current production BoM system.
- Consultation as a Solution Architect for system enhancements and continuous improvement regarding BoM relevant process, workflow, dataflow.
- IT project management for new solution realization.
- IT service/operation management including control of outsourcing vendor.
- IT Cost/Budget management.
