Responsibilities: Assess information technology requirements for Smart Building projects Collaborate and support sales and operations teams in developing a balanced solution for our customers Responsible for complete project lifecycle – requirements definition, conceptualization, price modeling and ROI, engineering, deployment, operation Determine applicable portfolio elements to address project requirements Lead high-complexity field configuration and deployment Engage IT portfolio partners based on the project requirements Own overall IT environment architecture for projects Lead collaboration discussion with customer’s IT teams Function as a subject matter expert on IT topics Provides direct Tier 2/3 support to the field Qualifications: Significant experience and certifications in networking - 10 years + (CCNA at minimum, CCNP preferred) Significant experience and certifications in virtualization/edge computing - 5 years + (cert with major vendors) Significant experience with cybersecurity controls and technology solutions ( IPS/IDS, firewalls, AV, etc) Significant experience with L1/physical infrastructure (horizonal/vertical plant, IDF/MDF build-out, UPS/PDU design, heat load calculations, power budgeting) Experience with 802.11 wireless: surveys, design, deployment Understanding of UC (Unified Communication) and telephony solutions Working understanding of BMS architecture, hardware and software Experience with solving BMS-IT-OT-compute project challenges Experience with PAAS/SAAS/IAAS Significant IT PMO experience Significant experience with creating IT/OT architectures Working knowledge of IT-OT software integration and APIs Significant experience with cross functional team collaboration -customers' IT, vendors Working understanding of IT market pricing structures and GTM strategies Highly desired certifications: CCDP, CCNP, Devnet, HCI (specific vendor certifications), VMWare, Nutanix This position will require up to 50% travel (CONUS) Must be located within 1 hr of a major US airport Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization Benefits: Competitive salary based on qualifications Health, dental, and vision plans Matching 401(k) up to 6% Flexible vacation plan Paid parental leave #LI-POST Organization: Smart Infrastructure Company: Siemens Industry, Inc.
