Information about the department
As almost all Commercial Vehicle Manufactures, Daimler Trucks Asia (DTA) is facing unknown challenges from future megatrends of Autonomous Driving, Connected and Electrified Trucks, as well as, the automation of Production and Administrative Processes, with the help of IT.
Daimler Trucks Asia aims to be the Frontrunner in the development and implementation of these technologies, and within DTA’s IT Strategy where ‘Data is the new Oil’, DTAs’ IT Department is an integral strategic enabler helping reach these future targets.
Through automating and digitalizing our processes, we will speed up our work efforts, implementing and utilizing data driven approaches and technologies , that will lead to improved management decisions, increased customer satisfaction, among other positive factors.
Your Roles and Tasks
-- IT application system planning/proposal for the ‘Research & development’ business support, especially in BOM, CAD, CAE, CAT, PDM.

- Create proposal for Digital transformation in MFTBC.

- Proceed IT projects (System development, package implementation etc.) for the solution realization.

- Manage the system operation (Use outsourcing vendor. Main task: Incident management, Problem management, Change management).

- Select & Manage the IT vendor for system development and operation.

- System measurement along with Daimler Security policy.

- Design MFTBC’s RD IT Landscape collaborate with other Daimler operation unit.

- IT budget management.
