WHAT YOU’LL DO

Member of Infrastructure logistics team in organizing, tracking, and shipping of Abbott owned infrastructure hardware to domestic and international locations.  This role is responsible for meeting business partner demands and tracking and reconciling all inventory levels in asset management system.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of incoming work orders to ensure fulfillment in a timely and accurate manner.
• Manages inventory and assist in implementing ideas and options for process improvements. 
• Lead Stockroom functionalities such as product picking, packing, shipping, tracking inventory, receiving of IT equipment.
• Managing small to medium deployment centers and stockrooms in asset management system.
• Helps manage and maintains productive relationships with peers, IT management, functional business areas and external partners. 
• Organize and replenish packing materials as necessary.
• Shipping domestic and shipping internationally
• Customer service – High level
• Manages small projects, directs, advises less experienced staff.  Influences technical and business direction.
• Provide metrics on team outputs

• May have direct supervision to contractors

Education and Experience

Required:

• 3 years’ experience in logistics
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• GED or equivalent required
• International Shipping experience
• Microsoft suite of product knowledge
• ServiceNow experience a plus
• Flexible
